Science and Technology Development Strategy

Objectives:

- Develop Hanoi University of Industry into a prestigious and trusted center for applied research and technology transfer, with the capacity to access, adapt, and advance cutting-edge technologies, while effectively applying them to production practices and Vietnamese socio-economic development.

- Strengthen scientific and technological capacity to meet the demands of research integrated with training, thereby contributing to the improvement of educational quality. Strive for scientific and technological activities in selected fields will reach an advanced and internationally competitive level in 2025.

- Promote science and technology as a key driver for HaUI’s sustainable development, as well as for the advancement of the Ministry and Vietnam. Enhance the reputation and brand of Hanoi University of Industry, aiming for revenue from science, technology, and service activities to account for 20% of HaUI’s total income in 2025.

Solution:

- Strengthen the organizational structure and management mechanisms for science and technology activities.

- Enhance research capacity in science and technology.

- Prioritize the development of key research areas aligned with national and ministerial orientations, while leveraging HaUI’s distinctive strengths.

- Advance news in science and technology, and intellectual property protection.

- Expand international cooperation in science and technology, closely linked with international cooperation education.

- Increase financial investment and upgrade infrastructure and facilities to support high-quality science and technology activities
