Student dormitories are modern, clean, and fully equipped, offering over 800 self-contained rooms with air-conditioning, hot water, and separate restrooms. Surrounding amenities such as basketball courts, cafeterias, laundromats, supermarkets, and cafes provide a comfortable and convenient living environment. A well-equipped medical station staffed with dedicated healthcare professionals ensures the health and well-being of the university community.
HaUI also prides itself on a team of highly qualified academic staff, with more than 500 associate professors and PhDs, actively engaged in research and knowledge transfer. Their experience and dedication play a vital role in enhancing the research culture and guiding students in national and international integration.
Proactive, innovative, globally-minded students
Each year, HaUI organizes the SSR conference, providing students with opportunities to present, defend, and showcase their projects. Now in its 16th year, the conference reflects students’ growing autonomy, research capabilities, and commitment to addressing real-world challenges.
The number and quality of student projects have steadily increased over recent years: 2021–2022: 427 projects; 2022–2023: 443 projects; 2023–2024: 585 projects; 2024–2025: 640 projects
First Prize projects demonstrate strong academic rigor and relevance to societal issues. Students invest significant time and effort into their work, improving their research and academic writing skills. Many have had their papers published in prestigious international journals (Q1–Q3). In the past year, 7 projects entered the ministry-level SSR awards, earning 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes, and 3 Consolation Prizes.
In addition to SSR projects, students from Hanoi University of Industry have also actively participated in academic competitions and achieved remarkable results. Notably, Lê Văn Đô won First Prize in the National Mechanics Olympiad (individual category). HaUI students also secured two Second Prizes in the Vietnam Procon Contest and gained recognition in the Ministry-level Student Research Project Awards with the following outstanding studies: “A study on the conditions for biosynthesis of Hyaluronic acid from microorganisms”, “Application of the MUSIC algorithm combined with Adaptive Beamforming to enhance audio quality in online calls”, “Exploring the cultural value of traditional Vietnamese costumes in tourism”, “Investigating factors influencing errors in the financial statements of small and medium-sized enterprises in Hanoi”, “Aerodynamic analysis and airflow characteristics of vehicles using CFD simulation software”, “Developing an adaptive control algorithm for Delta robots”.
