Hanoi University of Industry's Council of Professors held a meeting to select qualified candidates for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor in 2025.

From July 15 to 17, 2025, Hanoi University of Industry's Council of Professors held a meeting to review and recognize candidates who meet the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor according to standards and procedures for the consideration of recognition of accreditation, and appointment to the professor or associate professor title.

Attending the meeting were Dr. Ha Phuong, representing the State Council of Professors, and 15 members from HaUI’s Professor Council, including Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Dinh - Chairman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Van Dong-Vice Chairman, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Trong Chuong – Secretary and other members.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Cong Dinh, Chairman of HaUI’s Council of Professors, chaired the meeting.

In 2025, there were 17 candidates who registered and submitted their applications for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor, including 01 Professor candidate and 16 Associate Professor candidates (01 Associate Professor candidate withdrew her application for personal reasons).

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trinh Trong Chuong, Secretary of HaUI’s Council of Professors, announced the decisions on establishing HaUI’s Council of Professors 2025 and appointing positions in the Council.

The Council conducted an evaluation of foreign language proficiency for professional tasks and English communication ability. The result showed that 16/16 candidates passed.

Afterwards, the Council reviewed each application, compared it with the criteria to pass, and voted on the list of candidates to be presented with their general scientific reports.

After 16 candidates had presented their general scientific reports to the Council, they were included in the list for the vote for the title of Professor, Associate Professor (01 candidate for Professor, 15 candidates for Associate Professor).

After voting, the Council Chairman concluded that 16 candidates met the standards for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor. They would be reported to the Disciplinary/Interdisciplinary Council of Professors and the State Council of Professors for the following steps. The Chairman also asked the Rector of Hanoi University of Industry to publicly announce the result within 15 days.

Candidates were in the test of foreign language proficiency for professional tasks and English communication ability.
